Revenue-maximising price: $29
The problem
Most startups copy a competitor’s price or pick a round number. Half of software companies have never run a pricing study (Lenny’s Newsletter). Yet a 1% better price can lift profit by up to 11%. Underpricing quietly costs you runway; overpricing kills conversion.
How Survey Blaster solves it
Built in, with the report done for you.
Gabor-Granger price ladder
See how demand falls as price rises. The report plots demand and revenue curves and marks the revenue-maximising price.
Conjoint / choice experiments
Test packages of features and prices together to see which combinations people choose.
Two-sided marketplaces
Give buyers and sellers their own tracked link, then compare what one side will pay with what the other will accept.
Segment it
Pass a segment, plan or region in the survey link, set quotas, then split results to see whether price sensitivity differs by customer type.
Price in local currency
Add a prefix or suffix ($, €, £) to price questions and run the survey in your customers’ language.
Example
See it in practice.
Fictional example.
A home-services marketplace surveys households and tradespeople separately, with a tracked link for each side. The Gabor-Granger report shows a job price households accept and a payout tradespeople need, leaving a take rate that keeps the marketplace viable.
Which plan you need
Basic covers a full pricing study (about 300 completed responses). Choose Team if a colleague needs access, or if you buy panel sample and need respondents redirected back.

Questions, answered
How many responses do I need?
No fixed rule exists for Gabor-Granger. Aim for a few hundred, and around 200 per segment you want to compare.
Do you support Van Westendorp?
Not yet. Gabor-Granger and conjoint are available today.
Will survey answers match real buying behaviour?
People overstate what they’ll pay, so treat results as a ceiling. Confirm with a live price test or pre-sales.
